And Then We Moved to Waco…
It has been a whirlwind of a month for Theresa and I, but I am excited to announce that we have arrived in Waco. We close on our house Wednesday, and hope to get our stuff moved in pretty quickly after that (if this is new to you, read this).
We will be making one last trip to Long Island this weekend for our community group’s Christmas extravaganza and to say our final farewell to our Shelter Rock family. From there we will spend some time in upstate New York with Theresa’s brother before heading to Baltimore for Christmas with my niece and nephews (and my sister, brother in law, and parents).
After that, it is back to Waco in order to get settled in before classes start in January.
Over the last few weeks it has been fun to tell, and retell, the story of how God has brought us to this point, and how he has been working for years to orchestrate this move which feels so last minute. It is exhausting to think of how quickly things have come together, but it is incredibly exciting to think about what he is orchestrating for us in this next season.
Thanks for praying for us through this crazy season… and being patient with my infrequent posting schedule. I plan to pick it back up in January.
