Finance Fridays: Preparing for Year End (part 3)

last day of the monthOver the last three Fridays we have been discussing year end, and how churches need to be preparing for December 31 (six weeks!). Two weeks ago, we heard from Brad Leeper on year end giving, last week we spoke with Bill O’Connell about year end reporting and accountability, and today I am speaking with Jeremy Moore about budgeting for 2014. Jeremy Moore serves churches as Regional Director of the Evangelical Christian Credit Union. Over the years Jeremy has helped church think through tough financial decisions, helped them finance major initiatives, and served as a trusted advisor on all things financial. I asked Jeremy to share his thoughts with us on what churches need to be thinking about when it comes to budgeting for 2014:
