A Little Bit of Housekeeping
In the year that I have been posting on this site much has changed, but I am excited to see what lies ahead. Church Simple’s recent launch has been, by all accounts, successful and I am excited to say that I am serving a growing number of clients, and helping them walk through vision implementation, and acting as a church concierge.
A few things I would like to put in front of you:
- Facebook Page. The Church Thought Facebook page has been up for about a year, and until recently I have done little with it. I am still trying to figure out how to effectively leverage the page, but for the time being I have a huge favor to ask. If I have 125 people like the page by the end of the month, I will receive a significant amount of free advertising for Church Simple… would you take the two minutes to like the page?
- Plant Simple. Since the launch of Church Simple back in October I have been working on developing a similar service for church planters. Plant Simple is slowly coming together, and I think it will be an awesome resource for church planters. I am currently looking for church planters willing to be part of a focus group to help me and a colleague develop a coaching cohort for planters. If you are interested in spending a little time on Skype with me and some others, I would be grateful. Leave a comment below, or contact me here.
- 3 at 3. I have started doing something new on twitter and the Facebook page: The 3 at 3. Everyday I am sharing three posts, articles, pictures, or whatever that I have come across in my reading and think is helpful for church leaders. These are not written by me, but there is some great content being shared. I would love to hear your thoughts on what I am sharing. To check out the 3 at 3, click here.
- Upcoming Travel. The fall travel season continues next week when I will be in Atlanta, and the week after I will be on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for a week of fishing and relaxing. In 2012 I will be headed to Exponential, and The Velocity Conference. Interested in grabbing coffee? Drop me a line.
