Climbing Back in the Saddle for 2016

Happy 2016!

First things first, let’s take care of the elephant in the room. I’ve been gone. For a while.

Truth is, life got a little crazy. In the last two years Theresa and I moved to Texas on short notice, I started seminary, created and sold a vending business, started working at a local church, left a great company, grew Ministry Briefing, and began working on an MBA. All that to say, this blog has been somewhat neglected for a while (sorry!). That said, it’s time to start writing again, and I am looking forward to seeing where we go.

So, where are we going?

As I get more involved with Ministry Briefing (and sister publications XPBriefing, Church Leadership Briefing, and Generosity Briefing) much of my focus is going to be on what is going on in the church space, and the trends that are affecting local churches. I am also excited about the upcoming launch of a podcast with my friend Todd, where we will be discussing what is going on in the ministry world.

I don’t know about you, but I am excited to see what 2016 holds, where God takes us, and how the journey unfolds.

What are YOU excited about in 2016?
